Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
In short: your data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Sleep Lens has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the developer cannot see your data.
What Sleep Lens reads
- Your therapy file. When you choose a file or folder from your CPAP or APAP machine, Sleep Lens reads it on your iPhone and keeps the results there.
- Apple Health, only if you allow it. With your permission, Sleep Lens reads sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, sleeping wrist temperature, breathing disturbances, steps, active energy, exercise time, body mass, VO2 max and workouts, to show them next to your therapy nights. It never writes to Apple Health. You can change this at any time in the Health app.
- Your own notes. Quick logs, masks and care reminders you enter are stored on your device.
Where your data is kept
On your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch if you use the watch app. It is included in your own device backups if you have them switched on. Sleep Lens does not upload your data to any server run by the developer.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you choose to, for example by sending a PDF report to your sleep specialist with the share button. Health data is never used for advertising or sold.
Notifications
Reminders and morning summaries are created on your iPhone. They do not pass through any server.
Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove everything it stored. Sample data can be removed from the Tonight screen.
Children
Sleep Lens is not intended for children under 16.
Who is responsible

Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes and the app will say so.
Sleep Lens is a personal information tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat anything. Talk to your sleep specialist about your therapy.
